There are a lot of questions that people have when visiting a new Massage Therapist. Find some of the most common questions people have below. If something is still unclear, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
What are your hours?
Monday-Saturday 2-9 pm PST
Contact me if you would like to work out a time not within the hours listed above!
I never work Sundays.
What are your prices?
$150/hour // $225/1.5 hours // $300 for 3 hours
First-time clients must pay in advance for their massage to secure a place on my schedule. This payment will be taken when you call to book the appointment.
This price is the rate regardless of the service/treatment you're receiving. There is no mobile fee, that is worked within the pricing above.
If paid parking is required for your space, you will pay for the parking fee of the therapist.
What does "Mobile Massage" mean?
Mobile Massage means that I come to you to practice therapudic massage! I will bring all equipment needed for your massage, but clients will need to provide their own sheets (bottom sheet, top sheet, pillowcase).
I do not have a facility for you to come to for your massage, so you will need to provide a room or home for me to come to, as well as parking close to the space I will be working in.
How far do you travel?
I service East Bay, Marin, San Francisco, California, and the surrounding cities in those areas. If you're outside of these areas, I most likely would not be able to service you.
How should I prepare for my first treatment?
I will need a space to set up my massage table and have the room to walk around it without any obstacles in the way. Be sure to select a room that allows adequate space for your service, and is on the first floor. I do not bring my equipment upstairs without a working elevator.
Time to arrive to your appointment: I will arrive 15 minutes earlier than appointment time to set up. Your massage will begin promptly on time.
Clothing: depending on the massage you are receiving, you will disrobe to your comfort level.
Massage etiquette: We practice therapeutic massage only. Please do not ask inappropriate questions or make sexual advances/conversations towards your massage therapist.
What forms of payment do I accept?
Cash is preferred, but I also take Venmo. My account is @Christine-Stephens-3
I do not take credit cards or check payments and do not have a PayPal or Zell account.
Do I tip my massage therapist?
All gratuities are gratefully accepted, but not expected.
Are there any cancellation or late fees if I miss my appointment or if I'm late?
Yes. All appointments need to be canceled 24-hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee. If you do not cancel within that time frame, you will not be refunded your appointment deposit.
My cancellation fee is the scheduled fee for the appointment.
What kind of massage do you do?
We practice therapeutic massage ONLY.

Do you work on men?
Yes, I work on anyone! I reserve the right to refuse service if I feel unsafe, but I work on men and women who are in need of holistic, theraputic massage.
How often should I get a massage?
I have regular clients who get massaged as often as once a week.
If you are being massaged for rehabilitative purposes, you will likely be massaged 2-3x a week with a doctor's prescription so you can be reimbursed by your insurance company (if that is something they provide).
I will bring a mask and wear one only on your request.
I believe my medical history is private and personal, and not shared with clients.
If you have been sick with any flu, virus, or any sort of symptoms, please reschedule your appointments 24-hours in advance.
